St. Petersburg: Transport
Saint-Petersburg is a large city with well-developed system of public transportation. You can get to your destination by tram, trolleybus, bus, metro or route taxi.
You sure are familiar with these means of transportation, maybe with the exception of the route taxi. Locals call them “marshrutka”. Those are special microbuses that follow the routes of the city transportation, but make stops by the passengers’ requests. Thus you will quickly and easily reach your destination point. And they only cost 5-10 RUR more than other means of transportation.
