St. Petersburg celebtates its 311th Birthday on May 27.
It is well-known that the Russians like celebrating the so-called “City Birthday”. Every year the citizens and visitors of the city come to the central part of St. Petersburg to enjoy parades, special historical displays, public music concerts and a firework. It is absolutely free.
