The opening of the museum of bridges took place in St. Petersburg

Residents and guests of St. Petersburg saw the opening of the museum of bridges on Muchnoy lane. Now the exposition is the permanent exhibition of the Central Museum of Railway Transport of Russia. For more than 200 years, collectors collected this set of models of various bridges. For a very long time, ordinary people didn't have access to this famous collection.
"Now we are sure that every visitor, regardless of age, will be interested in the new museum. Visiting the exhibition will give them the opportunity to learn about the development of our country," says Vladimir Mitelenko, head of the Central Museum of Railway Transport.
More than a hundred exhibits are in the museum's collection. Visitors will be able to look at the technical models of the Lviny and Panteleymonovsky bridges, photographs, drawings and the oldest model of the first Neva bridge (18th century).
