It is a good tour to consider among the places to visit. The palace at Pavlosk holds lot of history and it is very well preserved. The guide was very knowledgeable providing lot of information, even while driving thru the city out of St Petersburg. We enjoyed the ride in the troika too. Information with lot of fun, that is a productive vacation. I highly recommend this tour and the guide.

The Pavlovsk Palace is very different from the other grand ornate palaces in St Petersburg. It is a must see. It has much more of a family atmosphere with excellent collections of all sorts of art and architecture. We enjoyed the palace interior very much and we went for a long walk in the beautiful gardens. Our guide was good. She knew her stuff and our private tour was well worth it. Unfortunately the palace grounds were not yet frozen and they did not permit our horse and carriage ride in the park, so we went instead through the nearby village. It was still a fun thing to do. The palace is 45 minutes to one hour drive from St. Petersburg but it is worth the time to do the tour. Allow about 4-5 hours total.

Thank you very much. We all enjoyed the tour. Let me summarize our experience.
1. MB Viano: good car with enough space for us 3 and the wheelchair. Driver Edward was ok.
2. Tour guide: Ludmila was well informed about the history of the places and the history of the Romanovs. She provided all the necessary information to understand the background. She was also very professional in the Tsarskoye selo and Pavlovsk palace - helping us avoiding the queues.
3. She was also knowledgeable about current situation in Russia and was very helpful explaining to us the daily life in Russia.
4. Initially she seemed to have some reservations in dealing with Germans - she explained that some of her relatives had been killed in WW2 by German soldiers. She was not so much tense after a while travelling with us.
5. Generally she has a very nice and open attitude and offered any assistance we might need. She arranged a booking in a restaurant for dinner: Art Caviar was a great place to explore the Russian cuisine.
And she helped sometimes - when the other were busy taking photos - pushing me in the wheelchair ))

Alex was very knowledgeable concerning the history of Russian Jews. He spoke excellent English and was very understanding in his discussion, will recommend him to everyone we know interested in Russia.

Peterhof is a really must when in St Petersburg. Stunning location with beautiful garden that I would recommend to any visitor. We had an excellent guide in Irina and we also stopped at Putinhof (!!) to take pictures. Kronstadt was not as expected as we had an expectation to see some of the fortified island(s) and islets, but the cathedral was gorgeous. Still - the visit to Peterhof is one not to be missed !

Had a wonderful time with our private guide Katia and driver. Katia was extremely knowledgeable we saw as much as we could in 2 days as possible with skip the line entrances.

Alexandra was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the jewish sites and history of Saint Petersburg. She was also. She was also very knowledgeable about the non jewish sites of Saint Petersburg. In addition she was very personable, My wife and I highly recommend Alexandra.

Sasha was a very good guide. His explanations were complete and informative. His English was very comprehensive. We went to three locales and each was worthwhile. He certainly is to be commended.

We enjoyed the tour very much. Klara is lovely, pleasant and. has a lot of knowledge. It was most enlightening.

Isaakskathedrale ist absolut einen Besuch wert. Die Innenausstattung ist typisch prunkvoll, viel Gold aber auch bunt. Trotz Restaurierung konnten wir fast alle Ecken der Kathedrale erkunden. Danach gingen wir noch hoch zum Säulengang. Das würde jedem empfehlen. Einmal rund um die Kuppel, kann man alle Ecken von St. Petersburg von oben betrachten. Ich bin sehr froh, mich für die Besichtigung entschieden zu haben.

Thank you, yes we enjoyed St Petersburg and Maria was wonderful! She took us to some great vantage points to see the city at night and also to a beautiful restaurant where we really enjoyed the food :) Thank you for your help in getting the tour organised.

Synagogue was very interesting to see. Still in use. Was even in use during the siege. Great historical significance. Now worshipers are free to come and go. During Soviet days there was a KGB agent monitoring their visitors. Neat gift shop outside.

Our guide was Alexandra. She knew so much details about St Petersbourg. She made our stay to an unforgetable event. . I only can say a great thank you from all our family. She brought us to places where a large group is not allowed to go.. It was fantastic. I only can recommend be-abo to everyone.

Wir sind im Juni in St. Petersburg gewesen. Unsere russischen Freunde hatten dort eine Stadtführung für uns gebucht. Unsere Reiseführerin war Veronika, die hervorragend Deutsch spricht. Sie hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und bereits auf den ersten Metern haben wir von ihr sehr interessante Einzelheiten über St. Petersburg erfahren. Zusammen mit ihr besuchten wir die Sommerresidenz von Zar Peter dem Großen. Bereits die Fahrt dorthin mit dem Schnellboot war faszinierend. Veronika hat uns sehr professionell und immer kurzweilig und unterhaltsam über die russische Gesichte informiert. Zu jedem Raum der Sommerresidenz konnte sie eine spannende Geschichte erzählen. Die Zeit dort verging wie im Flug. Einer der Höhepunkte dort war der Besuch der technischen Anlagen unterhalb der Springbrunnen. In der Nacht ging es dann mit Veronika durch die weißen Nächte von St. Petersburg. Das Highlight hier war sicherlich das Hochziehen der wunderschönen Stadtbrücken. Den Anblick tausender Boote zu klassischer Musik und Beleuchtung werden wir nie vergessen. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei Veronika für ihre hervorragende Reiseleitung.

Great tour emphazing Jewish History within history of Russia and St. Petersburg. Sasha is very knowledgeable and charming and we had lovely interesting time exploring a very interesting past of St. Petersburg's history.

I have had the pleasure (again) of using BeAbo's service for a large group of visitors - this time for 20 persons from Stockholm. A 3-day guided tour including securing meals for lunch and dinners and the guide staying with us from pickup at the hotel in the morning until dinner time in the evening. They managed also to secure transportation + extra guide on short notice when 50% of the group suddenly wanted to go to the Artillery Museum instead of Hermitage museum. A good cooperation (day/night) between their guide, their project manager and myself during the trip secured a smooth sailing for the group having a great time with sighseeing and russian/international cusine. I highly recommend using this company when visiting St. Petersburg.

Svetlana was an excellent tour guide fluent in English and Igor(?) a very prompt driver. They were so courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the companionship as much as the breathtaking winter views of a great city. I booked the tour from home and it was St. Peterburg and tours around Moscow as well. All passed spotless - easy booking, quick communication, and it was all run extremely professionally. BeAbo makes seeing the most important sites in St Petersburg simple and easy. This three day excursion took in all the sights we were hoping to see and even more. St Petersburg is wonderful but we enjoyed it a lot more with our private tour. It was a blessing to have early entry to the Hermitage and reserved time slots in TsarskoyeSelo. Our guides spoke excellent English and Spanish and were well understood and had ways to avoid crowds and get the most out of every visit. The tour encompassed the Faberge Museum, The Church of the Spilled Blood, Peterhof Grand Palace, The Hermitage, Gatchina palace and many more wonderful places including a breathtaking rooftop tour, boat trip and evening folk show with furshet.
We could not have wished for a better experience and heartly recommend this tour company!

My experience was enhanced by BeAbo company with information and guidance cheerfully given by guides in both cities. We had travelled from Moscow to St. Petersburg by Sapsan train (thoroughly recommended, just 4 hours on the way). I was impressed by the professionalism and coordination of our long 7 day tour. We had a 1 day tour with Peter&Paul Fortress, Hermitage museum and Peterhof with amazing fountains!! Our guide and driver were very professional and obliging. Hello, everybody! We want to say thank you for everything. We really enjoyed seeing so much of Saint-Petersburg in these 3 winter days. Right from the start!
