For the period of its functioning, the creative team of the circus produced more than hundreds of performances of both types: action and entertaining. A lot of marvelous artists from Russia and abroad took part in these performances. The masters of the Moscow State Circus make the tricks of almost all popular circus genres, and the fact, that they annually take part and win the most prestigious international festivals is an evidence of their perfect mastery. Single tricks and the whole productions are regularly shown on the arenas of more than twenty countries of the world. The anniversary performance in honor of the 25-year of the circus was watched by almost half of a million people. Nowadays, the Moscow State Circus is managed by the famous circus dynasty Zapashny. The circus is equipped with everything necessary for developing of this direction in art - the best choreographers, musicians and artists help in creation of the new performances.

The Moscow State Circus opens up its doors for the children of different ages, starting from 1.5 years. The program is renewed every season, but the special New Year performances during the winter holidays are stationary. In front of the building of the Moscow State building there is a small amusement park for the kids of different ages.

The hall accommodates more than three thousand of visitors, and the height of the circus cupola is 36 meters. The chairs in the hall are situated as amphitheatre, which allows to watch the performance from each seat in the circus. In the arsenal of the technical equipment there are five arenas, which can alternate each other during several minutes - horse, ice, water, illusion and light arenas. The architect E. P. Vulikha managed the construction process. The sizes of the circus answered the gigantomania, which was typical for the buildings of the 1960s.
