A large-scale exhibition project "Nicholas II. A Historical Portrait" opens in July 2018 in Moscow

This exhibition, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth and the100th anniversary of the tragic death of the emperor, is designed to introduce visitors to all aspects of Nicholas II's life. Among the exhibits, there are dozens of priceless items: from the Tsar's personal belongings, unique photos and rare archival material to sculptures and portraits of the Tsar and his family.
The exhibition is divided into separate thematic zones, dedicated to different historic periods of Nicholas II’s life, from his birth and coronation, to the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty and his tragic death.
The exhibition will be take place in the State Historical Museum, Red Square, 1 (Moscow)
