Festival of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in Moscow
07-09-2017
The First Festival of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in Moscow has been inspired by the tradition of folk and dance festivals that show the diversity of the song, dance and gastronomic culture of the Central European region. For one day the Museon Art Park will turn into a noisy fairground where one can dance accompanied by cymbals, taste national dishes, and learn about main Central European tourist routes.
The festival will start working for visitors on September 9 at 12.00 h. At 13:00 on the stage, an official opening of the Festival will take place, which will give a start to the rich dance and music program of the holiday. In the evening, there will be a gala concert with all groups of musicians participating in the holiday. Upon the end of the musical program, at 20:00, summer cinema Karo Museon will show the program of the Third Short Animation Festival of the Visegrad Four "A4", where animated novelties from four Central European countries will be presented (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary).
Only on this day, Cafe SMACK DOG & BURGER will offer to guests their special Central European menu. Guests will be able to taste traditional national dishes: Hungarian paprikas, Polish biogas, Slovak sausages and Czech bron harbors.
The festival has been arranged by embassies, centres of culture and tourist missions of four European countries supported by the Department for Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow and within the framework of the Hungarian presidency in the Visegrad Four.
