Legendary fountains will be launched soon in Peterhof

Famous Peterhof fountains will be switched on in the test mode as early as on April 24. They will be launched by stages and start working in full capacity only on May 20. This is also when an annual grand ceremony will be held to open the summer season at Peterhof. On this day,visitors will be able to enjoy the famous Fountain Show, watch gorgeous performances that belong to various genres and art movements. An apogee of the show will be fireworks at the Grand Cascade, chief Peterhof fountain, which has been bringing beauty and good spirits to everyone since 1723.

This unique fountain is directly connected to the sea with wide Sea Channel. On its banks, there are smaller fountains that together with the main decoration of Peterhof make a water complex, marvellous in its elegancy and chic.

The grand opening of the fountain season will preliminarily start at 13:00 on the third Sunday in May. You should necessarily watch the impressing spectacle. It will give you unforgettable emotions and memories.
