Madagascar – new destination for surfing

International Association of surfing included Madagascar in a list of places, which are recommended for this kind of sport activity. For tourists this African Island can be a very good choice: it offers white beaches, which spread for 4800 kilometers, great waves and low prices.

Representatives of the International Association of surfing claim that amateurs didn’t pay attention to this place so far, however at least 18 point on its coast satisfy the highest world standards. The best place for surfing here is South-West of the island. There are a lot of small bays, islands and reefs, which increase the waves.

Surfing season on Madagascar lasts all year round: the temperature of the water is comfort during winter, as well as summer. The strongest wind blows from 10:00 till 15:00.
