The XV Anniversary International Summer Festival of Contemporary Dance will be in the theatres of St. Petersburg in June 2013. The festival, originally a summer dance school, has come a long way since its conception in 1999, and is now one of the most anticipated dance events in St Petersburg. The festival includes intensive master classes, discussions with foreign teachers, and projects with guest choreographers and international dance companies. This year, for the first time, the festival will include a dance marathon 'Dance 24: Day and Night of Dance'. Be sure to check out the Open Gala, which begins the festival and involves stars of contemporary dance in Europe and the US.
