Peterhof fountains will work until mid-October

There is a piece of good news for those, who was not able to have a look at gorgeous Peterhof fountains in summer: water jets will spray until October 15, so it is time to plan an excursion to one of the most prominent suburbs of St. Petersburg.

The administration of SMR "Peterhof" is informing that fountains will work for visits until October 15. They are reporting that then they will switch off the fountains until the spring, while the Lower Park of the State Museum-Reserve will have winter mode of operation. The winter mode of operation of the Lower Park includes a free entrance to its territory until the summer season.

Note that despite the rainy and cold summer, SMR "Peterhof" has achieved a record in tourism in 2017. On a July day, 54 thousand people visited the museum.
