Spire installed and lights on at top of Lakhta Center

Construction workers have completed installation of a spire on a dome of the famous skyscraper Lakhta Center in the Primorsky District of St. Petersburg. This was reported by the press office of the company engaged in skyscraper construction.
At the top, air lights are already on. They mean that the building has reached the peak of 462 metersIn the press release, construction workers are highlighting that construction of the tallest European skyscraper has taken two years and a half.
The Lakhta Center is an innovative cross functional complex in Saint Petersburg. The building hosts the Gazprom Group Headquarters and public spaces.Construction of the complex started in October 2012 and is scheduled to have been completed by the end of 2018.The Lahta Center landmark, 462 meter-tall skyscraper, has become the highest building in Europe. About 600 Russian and international companies and over 20,000 people from 18 countries have been taking part in the project.
