Stations of the British subway will become hotels and museums

Stations-ghosts of the London subway will become soon one of the most popular places for tourist, supplementing hotel chains, shops and museums.

Deserted stations of the subway, which represents the branching of 750 tunnels, attracted engineers five years ago. That time the subject of research was the old map of the underground utilities. According to the words of engineers, it is the whole vast of underground space, which is hidden from the eyes of passengers and absolutely unused for the moment.

The total number of the stations, which are supposed to be reconstructed, is 34 objects. In the first part the chief engineer of the project of reconstruction of deserted subway stations Mr. Chambers plans to work with the main 13 stations.

Financial prosperity of this idea depends on four investors, one of which is Duncan Vaughan-Arbuckle, the founder of "Vinopolis" - London museum of wine.
