VISITORS LINED UP IN A QUEUE BY THE AURORA CRUISER

After a two-year time-out, the legendary cruiser has returned to its berth and is ready to host sightseers in St. Petersburg. The ship has almost no changes outside except a darker hull colour, while its teak deck and guns are shining with novelty. The major changes have been made indoor. Now you can see there holograms and 3-D models. It is in order to see the unique multimedia halls of the Aurora that citizens and tourists had joined the queue several hours before the exposition opening.

In the daytime on August, 3, there were 700 people queueing from the Petrogradskaya Embankment almost to the turn to the Petrovskaya Embankment. At the same time, the exhibition was opened with a slight delay. 250 sightseers can visit the ship at the same time. However, in view of a large influx of people the decision was made to allow groups of 20 people to the deck. Nevertheless, the queue was quite actively getting shorter. The average waiting time was 30-40 minutes.

The Aurora tour costs 400 roubles for an adult visitor and 200 roubles for a child. There is the same ticket price for pensioners. As for international tourists, the prices are somewhat different, 600 roubles for adults and 400 roubles for children or pensioners.
