Aeroflot joined Anti-Corruption Charter

Aeroflot joined the Anti-Corruption Charter of the Russian Business. The Official Certificate was handed to Aeroflot representative by the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin.
Aeroflot is currently working on the implementation of the corporate anti-corruption programs. In its performance the Company adheres to the public anti-corruption principles and measures, conduction of transparent and open procurement process, rejection of illicitly obtaining benefits, creation of effective feedback channels and informational struggle against corruption.
Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business was sighed on September 20, 2012 at the XI Investment Forum in Sochi with the participation of Prime Minister of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. The document became the Declaration of the Russian business community in order not only to support government measures against corruption, but also to start its own fight against this phenomenon.
The Charter was initiated and signed by the Heads of the leading domestic business associations - Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, Russian public organization “Business Russia” and all-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium Enterprises “Support of Russia”.
The affiliation to the Charter indicates Aeroflot’s adherence to the best standards of international law and Russian legislation in the field of corruption prevention and counteraction and demonstrates high ethical principles of open and honest business.
