The “People’s Artist of Armenia”, composer-musician, and professor, is widely acknowledged as a living legend both within the country and worldwide. Specialising in the dukuk (woodwind/reed instrument)–of which he is regarded as ‘the master’- he has collaborated with Brian Eno, Lionel Rihie and Peter Gabriel, and has lent his talents to 18 films, among them Hollywood blockbusters.
