A spherical multimedia "AtmaSfera 360" hall and street festival of immersive art opens in Stas Namin Theatre in Moscow

Stas Namin Theatre will present a unique interactive platform, which will be equipped with a huge screen of a spherical shape. This art platform can be transformed into a special cinema and theatre with special digital scenery and even a dance floor, where you can hold parties with absolute immersion in unique virtual reality locations. In Moscow’s Gorky Park, a street festival for immersive art, dedicated to the launching of the unique project, will be organised.
The project called "AtmaSfera 360" is a special creative platform, located under the dome of a huge screen in the form of a sphere, the surface of which is 550 sq. m. The screen will surround visitors, thus creating a special effect of immersion in virtual locations. The image is in 4K format, which is in many ways better than the well-known FullHD. The video will be supplemented with professional sound. The visual content that will be shown to the audience was prepared by a team of Russian and foreign artists. Visitors to the "AtmAsfera 360" art location will be able to see a unique spectacle, which will include generative graphics, films, a live show programme and much more.
The location will open with a street festival dedicated to immersive art. For two days, 9 sites will be active, where a wide variety of workshops and other activities will be organized for children, as well as for adults. Movies on a huge screen, special yoga classes, photo shoots – this is just a small list of what awaits the guests of the festival.
The "AtmaSfera 360" site will work almost around the clock. In the daytime you can watch a variety of video shows, visit space, etc. In the evening, guests can enjoy interactive parties, concerts, theatrical performances and much more.
The opening is on 25 August, 2019.
