The main characters of "Soyuzmultfilm" will celebrate their 50th anniversary at the ice rink of VDNH

This February, some of our beloved animated "Soyuzmultfilm" characters will celebrate their birthdays: the Bremen Town Musicians, Gena the Crocodile and Cheburashka, the Wolf and the Hare, as well as Winnie the Pooh and Piglet, turn 50 years old. VDNH and "Soyuzmultfilm" have decided to celebrate it, together with Muscovites, guests of the capital and the characters themselves, at the ice rink called "Rocket" (near VDNH), starting from the 10th of February and taking place over the following four Sundays. There will be competitions at the event. The winners will visit their favourite animation studio.
The celebrations include games and entertainment. One of the most interesting events is a competition to take the best photo. Everyone will be able to take an unlimited number of photos with hashtags #вднх (#vdnh) and #союзмультфильм (#soyuzmultfilm) and post them on their personal Instagram profile. At the end of each celebration, those whose photos scored the most votes will be awarded the right to visit "Soyuzmultfilm".
The guests of the "Rocket" will be entertained by animators dressed in costumes of characters from the well-known cartoons. All four Sundays will be dedicated to the characters of four cartoons created 50 years ago: on the 10th of February, it's the Wolf, the Hare and their fans who will have a celebration. On the 17th of February, Gena the Crocodile and Cheburashka will celebrate their 50th anniversary. On the 24th of February, there will be a celebration of the Bremen Town Musicians, and, on the 3rd of March, of the jolly Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
All four celebrations will be held at the Industry (Promyshlennosti) Square, more precisely at the "Rocket" ice rink.
All 4 events will be held on four Sundays, starting from the 10th of February and finishing on the 3rd of March. The festivals will be held in 2 stages every Sunday: 11:30-13:30 and 14:30-16:30.
