Christmas Market is opened at Pionerskaya Square

For more than two weeks the Pionerskaya Square next to the Theatre for the Young will become a centre of outdoor festivities, gathering St. Petersburg residents and all those who wish among the guests who have arrived at the Capital of the North. Merchants from different countries and Russian regions will come to the Market place. Merchant stands will be open for guests every day. On December, 23, Farther Frost will visit the market, and entertainments will be offered to visitors until January, 8.

You will learn how to celebrate the New Year in different countries and be able to taste traditional eats and drinks.The Christmas Market has been one of the major New Year events in St. Petersburg held since 2006. Every year more than a million of citizens and city visitors are there.
