Parks of St. Petersburg are being closed for drying

As long as winter is not going to come back to St. Petersburg for months, it's time to close gardens and city parks for drying. In April, the following ones will be not available for pleasant walks: Tauride Garden, Kazan Square, Square of Galina Starovoitova, Moskovsky Victory Park, Lopukhinsky garden and other big parks, as well as famous Summer Garden and Mikhailovsky Garden. They will be opened only at the beginning of May. According to technological regulations drying should last from March 25 till May 1, but usually gardens and parks come up to their normal state in 2-3 weeks - depending on weather conditions.
